With its Outstanding Ofsted rating, the school offers excellent opportunities for joyful and engaging learning experiences.About the Role: As an Early Years Support Worker, you will work closely with staff to provide personalised support, helping students develop independence, resilience, and confidence.Key Responsibilities:
- Support children in the Early Years setting with individual learning activities and developmental tasks.
- Assist teachers in delivering a tailored curriculum that meets each child’s unique needs.
- Encourage positive behaviour, social skills, and emotional development through structured and creative activities.
- Build strong, supportive relationships with children to foster confidence and independence.
- Monitor and record children’s progress, contributing to assessments and planning to inform personalised support.
- Experience working with young children, ideally within an Early Years or SEN setting.
- Knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and inclusive early years practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and resilience, with the ability to adapt support to meet individual needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to support a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
- Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
