The Senior Procurement Advisor will play a vital role in managing procurement activities, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness within the Procurement & Supply Chain department.   • Develop and implement procurement strategies to support business objectives.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost, and delivery requirements are met.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favourable terms.
  • Monitor procurement KPIs and prepare detailed performance reports.
  • Support cross-functional teams with procurement-related insights and guidance.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and relevant regulations.
  • Provide expert advice on procurement best practices within the industrial/manufacturing context.
Clear progression plan with multiple avenues to explore.Work with an established and strategic procurement team.A successful Senior Procurement Advisor should have:
  • Previous experience in procurement within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
  • To have experience in the indirect sector.
  • Have prior category experience in MRO, tooling, PPE, H&S and travel is preferred.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
  • Competency in analysing market trends and procurement data.
  • A relevant qualification in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Knowledge of procurement regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
