  • Supporting students with a range of social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH), as well as those with behavioural challenges or additional learning needs.
  • Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external therapists to help implement behaviour support plans and therapeutic strategies.
  • Building consistent, supportive relationships with pupils, acting as a positive role model and advocate.
  • Gaining hands-on, practical experience that mirrors elements of clinical or therapeutic work in education settings.
