- Developing and implementing business development strategies to expand our client base and market share
- Creating and executing a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed targets
- Building strong client relationships and identifying opportunities for service growth
- Leading tenders, bids and contract negotiations to secure favourable terms
- Creating targeted marketing materials and campaigns that enhance brand recognition
- Representing Prometheus at industry events and positioning the company as a thought leader
- Proactively seeking new business opportunities through networking and market research
- Providing accurate sales forecasts and market insights to the leadership team
- Mentoring and managing the business development team to achieve strategic goals
- Strong understanding of the NHS and or private healthcare sector, ideally in the mental health or social care field
- Proven experience in business development, marketing or sales, ideally within private healthcare, NHS or Local Authority commissioning.
- Track record of winning high-value contracts and building long-term client relationships
- Experience leading tender processes, bid writing and contract negotiations
- Excellent ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders including senior decision makers
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously
- Commercial mindset with strong analytical, negotiation and presentation skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all organisational levels
- Management or leadership experience with the ability to inspire and develop a team
- Strong understanding of the NHS and or private healthcare sector, ideally in the mental health or social care field
