Job Title: Transport Shift ManagerLocation: Runcorn, WA7 3FZJob Length: 12 month fixed term contract (FTC)Working Hours: 45 hours per week, on a 3 shift rotating pattern. Either 5am to 2pm, 7am to 4pm or 11am to 8pm on a Monday to Friday basis. Flexibility to work outside of these hours as required to suit business needs.Competitive Salary with extensive benefits:

Reporting to the Transport Manager this role will play a key part of our success journey, and you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following:Role Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for compliance of all vehicles and drivers
  • Providing skills required to deliver to customers on time and in full.
  • Providing high quality services to suit customer needs.
  • Providing support for distribution teams to ensure smooth running of operations.
  • Making sure all site objectives are met whilst not compromising on health and safety.
  • Holding health and safety at the forefront of all processes.
  • Seeing the vehicles and crew out in the morning and overseeing the return of all vehicles and crews.
  • To be the point of contact for all real time delivery issues for the crews and to communicate with customer services.
Experience and Key Attributes:
  • Experience supervising or leading within transport or a logistics network.
  • Experience within transport compliance.
  • Customer Service.
  • IT literate.
  • Manual Handling.
  • IOSH certification beneficial however not required.
  • Transport Manager CPC beneficial however not required.
