Graduate 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant

• Provide 1:1 support for a student with SEN ensuring physical, emotional and education need are met.
• Implement and adapt learning activates to suit the student individuals needs and learning style.
• Monitor and record students progress reporting to the SENCO and classroom teacher as required.
• Use appropriate behavior management strategies to support the student’s positive behavior
• Assist with classroom management and contribute to a positive learning environment

• Minimum 2:1 degree in in Psychology or related subject preferred
• Experience working with students with SEN, including Autism, ADHD and/or learning disabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents/ carers.
• Previous experience with SEN or in youth-focused roles is desirable but not essential

• Must have the right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
