Key responsibilities include:
  • Delivering tailored 1:1 and small-group interventions in English Language and Literature.
  • Supporting students with analytical writing, reading comprehension, and exam preparation.
  • Assisting classroom teachers with lesson planning and delivery.
  • Monitoring student progress and helping to create targeted learning strategies.
  • Promoting a love of literature, strong communication skills, and critical thinking.
What We’re Looking For Graduate Teaching Assistant EnglishWe are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant Englishwith the following:
  • A degree 2:1 or above in English, English Literature, English Language, or a closely related subject from a top university.
  • A genuine passion for education and the English curriculum.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to build rapport with students and support them in reaching their potential.
  • Prior experience working with young people (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, volunteering) is desirable but not essential.
