We're looking for a Regional Finance Analyst for a fixed term of 12 months to join our team and support financial operations across our Northern logistics network. This role offers a dynamic environment with opportunities for development and cross-functional collaboration.Main Responsibilities
  • Support budgetary cost control, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Prepare management accounts and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct weekly and monthly variance analysis to inform decision-making.
  • Assist in managing relationships with third-party suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Liaise with Site Outbound Logistics Managers to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Maintain financial control and manage risks within the logistics area.
  • Implement checks for accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare and review monthly journals in SAP and Movex.
  • Produce weekly and monthly reports on cost bridging, labour, and volume.
  • Contribute to regional budget preparation and biannual forecasts.
  • Build effective cross-functional relationships across sites.
  • Provide team support and cover as needed.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects and analysis.
Key Requirements
  • AAT qualified or equivalent experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills.
  • Experience in detailed reconciliations.
  • Proficient in Excel and financial systems.
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Previous exposure to logistics or supply chain finance is advantageous.
