- Lead the monthly close process for overseas entities: review trial balances, journals, intercompany positions, and manage balance sheet reconciliations.
- Liaise with local finance teams and third-party advisors to ensure timely submission of financial data and compliance with group policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with country/entity directors in Ireland, Asia, US, and other jurisdictions, acting as a finance business partner.
- Take responsibility for accurate reporting and forecasting of group-level (head office and shared) costs.
- Manage budgeting, reforecasting, and variance analysis in coordination with business stakeholders.
- Ensure appropriate cost allocations and intercompany recharges across divisions (e.g., Investment Trust and IPS) and subsidiary entities.
- Support and own elements of group consolidation, including elimination entries and intercompany reconciliations for relevant entities.
- Lead preparation of half-year and year-end group financial statements under IFRS.
- Manage the day-to-day relationship with external Big 4 auditors.
- A Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA) Audit Background with at least 4 years Post Qualified Experience
- Someone with experience with IFRS and Statutory Reporting
