We are currently seeking a dedicated and resilient Teaching Assistant to join the team on a full-time, long-term basis from September 2025.This is a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting impact by supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and other complex learning difficulties. If you are passionate about helping pupils overcome barriers to learning, we’d love to hear from you.The Role:You will work closely with the classroom teacher and SEND specialists to support students across Key Stages 2–4 within a structured and therapeutic environment. Your support will help learners build confidence, develop key life skills, and achieve their academic goals.Your Responsibilities Will Include:Providing 1:1 and small-group support tailored to individual needsAssisting with behaviour regulation and emotional resilienceAdapting learning resources to engage students effectivelySupporting the implementation of EHCP targets and behaviour plansBuilding positive, trusting relationships with pupils and staffHelping to create a calm and inclusive classroom atmosphereMonitoring and reporting on pupil progressWhat We’re Looking For:Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH or additional needsA patient, empathetic, and proactive approachAbility to manage challenging behaviour calmly and confidentlyTeam player with excellent communication skillsA strong understanding of SEN and trauma-informed practicesEnhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)What Supply Desk Offers:A long-term, rewarding role within a specialist provisionCompetitive daily rate: £85–£105 (dependent on experience)Ongoing training and CPD in SEND and behaviour managementA dedicated consultant to support you throughout your placementOpportunities to transition into a permanent roleAccess to wellbeing resources and mental health supportTerm-time only – enjoy school holidays offApply Now!Submit your application at or click ‘Apply Now’.
