Job Description:Schneider Electric has an exciting opportunity for a Commissioning Engineer to join our established team in Yorkshire. You’ll support the installation and commissioning of Building Management Systems (BMS), including software, graphics, and integration work.Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure safe working practices on-site and in the office, following Schneider Electric’s H&S systems.
  • Pre-commission and commission control panels, field devices, and networks.
  • Integrate third-party systems into existing BMS.
  • Develop and commission controller software and graphical user interfaces.
  • Handover completed systems to customers/consultants.
  • Support project managers with installation design and management.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, becoming a trusted expert.
  • Configure and commission graphics, document progress, and assist with O&M manuals.
About You
  • Background in electrical engineering or a related field is beneficial.
  • Previous commissioning experience is advantageous, but training is provided.
  • Understanding of HVAC control principles.
  • Customer-focused with strong teamwork and independent working skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).
  • Full UK driving license required.
