A vacancy has arisen for a Senior Radiology IT Systems Administrator to join the UHD RITS team in providing a full, comprehensive and flexible IT service to the Radiology department across UHD.The overview of the role involves taking on the role of a Senior Administrator for the numerous radiology IT computer systems at UHD. These computer systems include but are not limited to: Picture Archive and Communication System (PACS); Radiology Information System (RIS); OrderComms; various image sharing systems; the digital patient engagement platform; orthopaedic template system; cardiology analysis systems; outsourced reporting systems and document management systems.The role will provide direct support to the Radiology IT Systems Manager in the delivery of services through specialist technical and operational knowledge.Base Location: Poole HospitalInterview Date: TBCMain duties of the jobTo assist the Radiology IT systems manager and their team in the daily management and administration of the PACS and Radiology Information Systems.To be able to produce ad hoc statistic reports for the Radiology Heads of Department in order to assist in strategic planning.To look after the day to day running of the Image Exchange Portal, transferring routine and urgent examinations between UK hospitals.To act as point of initial contact for issues relating to Radiology IT systems or hardware, triaging and prioritising the issue and then escalating as necessary.To set up user accounts and provide passwords for all PACS users according to departmental policy.Maintain confidentiality at all times.About usOur values define who we are as #TeamUHD.
