We are seeking an experienced PTS General Foreman with a proven background in civil engineering works within the rail environment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading contractor delivering a portfolio of infrastructure projects.As General Foreman, you will play a key role in overseeing site operations, managing teams, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise site teams on civil engineering projects within the rail environment.Ensure works are carried out in line with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.Coordinate daily site activities including earthworks, drainage, and associated civil engineering works.Manage labour, plant, and materials effectively to maximise productivity.Work closely with site management, engineers, and subcontractors to deliver successful project outcomes.Maintain accurate records and support site reporting requirements.Skills & Experience RequiredPTS (Personal Track Safety) – essential.Previous experience as a General Foreman (or similar supervisory role).Strong background in civil engineering works, particularly earthworks and drainage.Experience working on projects within the rail sector.Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.Strong commitment to health & safety and quality standards.Clean drivers license.Overtime oppurtunities with night and weekends available.
