SEMH Teaching Assistant - Pupil Referral Unit
Location: Multiple Sites in Central Birmingham (B10, B12, B23, B32)
Pay: From £95 per day (PAYE)
Contract: Full-Time, Ongoing

This is your chance to help them navigate those challenges and discover their potential.We're working with a forward-thinking Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Birmingham that supports around 440 learners referred by the Local Authority. Each student comes with their own story - some have been permanently excluded, others are in care, many are living with the effects of trauma, anxiety, or significant social and emotional needs.About the Learners:
You could be working with students who:Have an EHCP for social, emotional, or mental health (SEMH) needsAre at risk of exclusion or already permanently excluded from mainstream schoolAre looked after children without a current school placementAre involved with the justice systemFace barriers to learning linked to anxiety, difficult life experiences, or complex home situationsThe Role:
As a Teaching Assistant in this PRU, your role is all about connection, encouragement, and consistency.
