Teaching Assistant – Primary Schools – B25 areaFull-time & part-time roles available | September starts!Are you passionate about making a difference in children's education?
Do you have experience supporting primary-aged children (5–11 years)?
Are you a graduate or someone with relevant experience looking to gain hands-on classroom exposure?Teaching Personnel is proud to be working in partnership with several welcoming and supportive primary schools in B25 and surrounding areas, and we are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join their teams.Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting the class teacher with daily classroom duties and lesson delivery
  • Working 1:1 or with small groups of pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
  • Helping maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Building professional, nurturing relationships with pupils, staff, and families
We're looking for someone who:
  • Has experience working with children (in education, care, mentoring, or similar)
  • Understands the needs of primary-aged pupils, particularly those with additional learning needs
  • Is patient, caring, and adaptable with a warm and approachable attitude
  • Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team
  • May have a background in health & social care, psychology, youth work, sports coaching, or SEN support

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
