Release Date: Wednesday 27 August 2025An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our newly expanded Academic Registry team as a Programme Operations Coordinator. The Programme Operations team play an important role in ensuring the effective organisation and delivery of programme operations processes across the University, directly enhancing the student experience whilst aligning with the Aston 2030 strategy. You will assist the implementation of best practice across all areas of programme operations. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with Programme Operations Officers and Programme Operations Managers to uphold the highest standards of administrative operations, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for students and stakeholders alike. Your work will directly support the University’s mission to deliver outstanding educational services, contributing to a seamless, omni-channel student journey.You will be required to provide comprehensive administrative support for programme operations, including coordinating module selection, changes, personal tutor allocations, and student groupings; ensuring the accurate and timely maintenance of student records in line with standard operating procedures; responding to queries from students, staff, and external stakeholders, delivering clear and precise information on programme requirements; support the organisation and documentation of meetings, including the preparation of agendas, minutes, and related reports; collaborating with scheduling teams to facilitate the smooth execution of timetabled activities.You will have proven experience in administrative roles within client/stakeholder- focused environments, with expertise in managing student record systems and handling confidential information. Strong organisational skills, excellent communication, and a keen eye for detail are essential, along with the ability to meet multiple deadlines effectively. You will also demonstrate and model professional behaviours, setting high standards for collaboration and service excellence. Knowledge of Tribal SITS or similar student record systems and experience working in higher education, especially within programme or student support functions would be desirable.This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team within the University’s Academic Registry.
