We are looking for a Chef to cover temporary Ad Hoc shifts for one of our clients based in central Brighton.
Monday to Friday and weekend ad hoc shifts in the morning or afternoon.
Temporary positionEnhance DBS is essential.£19.32 per hour for hostel rate
£14.82 per hour some other placesDuties will include preparing and cooking tasty, basic, homecooked food such as shepherds pie, fish and chips, curries etc. there will be a kitchen assistant to support with washing up and cleaning duties. Food deliveries will come from donations with a small extra budget to source additional ingredients. This role would suit someone with a passion for producing quality meals for a maximum of 24 residents.Other duties:
  • Complete all checks and legal paperwork on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  • Meeting all dietary requirements if there are any.
  • Keeping to a budget.
  • Ordering all food/stock control and rotation.
  • Utilising the fareshare donated food we get 3 times a week.
  • Ensuring enough and appropriate food for the weekend (so that the staff on shift can cook).
  • Directing KP - who has cleaning and clear up duties only.
