This is a full-time, office-based role for an experienced Legal Cashier. Working closely with the in-house Accountant, you’ll play a key part in maintaining accurate and compliant financial records, ensuring all transactions are managed efficiently and in line with regulatory standards.Duties will include:
  • Posting daily transactions to client and office ledgers
  • Monitoring and processing online bank activity
  • Reconciling bank accounts in accordance with SRA rules
  • Processing and paying disbursements and staff expenses
  • Managing receipts and payments
  • Assisting with completion statements
  • Handling supplier invoices and payments
  • Managing client-to-office account transfers
  • Calculating and posting client account interest
  • Undertaking credit control duties
  • Scanning and filing financial documents
  • Supporting the team with ad-hoc finance tasks as required
About the Successful Applicant
You will be detail-oriented with strong numeracy skills and experience using Excel and Word. Familiarity with the SRA Accounts Rules is essential, alongside a methodical approach to data entry and financial processing.
