ISSEmployability AdvisorLocation: London, E14 9SHHours of work: 37.5Contract Type: PermanentWe are seeking an Employability Advisor to support individuals in the local region with skills development opportunities, helping them progress into roles within Facilities Management.Job DescriptionAs an Employability Advisor, you will run sessions with partner organisations to support disadvantaged communities, while also working with ISS sites to understand recruitment needs and promote inclusive hiring.The role also involves tracking candidate progress from training into employment, supporting training sessions for employees with real success stories, and assisting the regional team where needed.This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in the community while building your career with a supportive organisation.Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging training sessions to disadvantaged groups.
  • Maintain and develop a strong network of employment opportunities across the region.
  • Build connections with partner organisations and hiring employers.
  • Engage with the wider ISS teams across the region to share best practices.
  • Identify and promote success stories within the business.
  • Collaborate with L&D teams to establish a regular cycle of celebrations.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
  • Experience delivering training to disadvantaged or marginalised groups.
  • Strong ability to assess situations, identify options, and create effective action plans.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in IT skills and confident in using digital tools.
  • Skilled in building and managing relationships effectively.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and able to manage ambiguity.
  • Demonstrates accountability and delivers against objectives.
