- Lead daily site briefings, safety talks, and toolbox sessions to promote a strong safety-first culture
- Manage contractors across the landfill, recycling, and RAP production areas
- Monitor and improve operational performance using KPIs
- Maintain high standards of site housekeeping and presentation
- Control site costs in line with budget expectations
- Ensure full compliance with planning and environmental permit conditions
- Implement and maintain SOPs, HIRAs, and the Site Improvement Plan (SIP)
- Operate weighbridge and loading shovel as needed
- Inspect and document inbound inert waste, ensuring proper acceptance/rejection procedures
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including landowners, farm managers, Tarmac Pave, and third-party traffic management teams
- Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a similar industry
- Background in Inert Recovery & Recycling, Quarries, RMX, or Asphalt
- SHE Level 4 or 6 qualification (or willingness to undertake)
- IOSH Managing Safely certification
- Strong understanding of Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work
- WAMITAB certification (or willingness to undertake)
- Loading Shovel ticket and experience with weighbridge operations
