Because we're doing more than providing healthcare, we're enabling & empowering people by making healthcare work for them.We’re here because we care about healthcare and we plan to be the largest digital primary healthcare platform for people across Europe.The roleWe’re looking for a GPhC registered Pharmacist who is tech-savvy, eager to learn and with an interest in how the healthcare industry is evolving within the digital world.This is a great opportunity to work in an unusual pharmacy setting as our working environment differs greatly to traditional pharmacies. Please note this is not a patient facing role, as all of our pharmacy services are provided at a distance to patients across the UK. We believe this provides a great opportunity to develop further professionally in areas other than direct face-to-face consultation with patients. Our pharmacy is based within our London office in Islington, dispatching medications and home sampling kits to our UK patients.Working hours are 40 hours per week with general hours being Monday-Friday 9am-6pm with potential to work on weekends or stagger shifts where required.This position is perfect for a forward-thinking candidate interested in growing their experience within a start-up environment. This role would be ideally suited to a relatively newly qualified Pharmacist, but we do welcome applications from those qualified for longer.What you can look forward to in this role:

Key Accountabilities:Working in our mail-order pharmacy - delivering products and services directly to the UK market. This involves safely and efficiently labelling, dispensing and checking medication against digitally signed prescriptions, all in line with the current legal, professional and ethical frameworks. Our London pharmacy is our secondary pharmacy, supporting our main hub pharmacy, which dispatches a majority of our orders. There is, therefore a unique opportunity in this role to work on a lot more than the day-to-day checking of prescriptions.Confidently assume the role of RP- understand the accountabilities of an RP and work closely alongside our small pharmacy team to safely provide services to our patients. You will generally be the primary pharmacist supported by multiple other pharmacists in the company.Accurately and efficiently perform clinical checks and final checks - review patient data to perform in-depth clinical checks to ensure we are providing appropriate treatment to our patients as well as final checks of dispensed medications.Work to strict daily deadlines - ensure treatments are provided to our patients in a timely manner, providing an efficient service for our patients.Lead on maintaining the dispensary- maintaining appropriate stock levels and supplies, liaising closely with suppliers to ensure that we are getting both the correct stock volumes but also ensuring that they are arriving promptly, safely and intact. Be responsible for stock counts, expiry checks and following up on products marked out of stock where needed. Ensure required regular checks and records are complete, such as temperature logs of the pharmacy.Be the main point of contact for the London Pharmacy - As the primary pharmacist in our small pharmacy, you will be the consistent point of contact on behalf of the dispensary. This includes assisting our Patient Care and Doctor teams with queries from patients. This also means you are ideally positioned to conduct weekly team huddles to ensure any relevant updates have been disseminated to the team.Help enhance and innovate our services - reviewing and auditing our processes. You will conduct regular audits and assist with SOP updates where required. You will have the opportunity to lead and/or work on projects to improve the workings of the Pharmacy department. You will be helping to constantly improve our operational processes on-site, as well as having opportunities to get involved with reviewing and improving our clinical guidelines.Work alongside other teams - you will be required to work with our Doctor and Customer service teams to support our dynamic online doctor service. This involves flagging potential clinical issues to the correct teams as well as resolving pharmacy-related queries these teams may have.Providing services to patients at a distance - as we’re an online service, the pharmacist won’t come into contact with patients face to face, making this a distinguished role from other pharmacist positions. Instead, the pharmacist will gain professional exposure to innovative and online services.Be a consistent face in the office - As a member of staff who will consistently work from our London office, you will work closely with the Partner and Facilities Operations Manager (also a Pharmacist). You will be fully trained in First Aid in the workplace and become a Fire Warden, this will give you the tools to look out for hazards in the office and report these to the facilities manager as needed. You may also be required to assist the PFOps manager with small tasks around the office such as isolating confidential mail to be directed to different colleagues and ordering groceries as needed for the office.We would love you to have the following:Technical skills & experience:
  • Qualified pharmacist, fully registered with the GPhC.
  • We are open to applications from newly qualified pharmacists as this role does not require extensive experience in other settings.
  • Be competent at using basic IT programmes such as the Google Drive suite.
  • Have a good understanding of UK pharmacy requirements and regulations.
  • Ability to accurately and efficiently clinically check prescriptions as well as perform final checks on dispensed items.
