- Monitoring the workplace culture including turnover and absenteeism
- Assisting the HR Business Partner with reward benchmarking.
- Producing monthly HR statistics and reports including headcount, labour turnover, absence and recruitment.
- Building strong working relationships with managers in the business to aid personal understanding of the key business drivers and to identify potential people and development issues at an early stage.
- Rounded experience of generalist HR support, coupled with a good appreciation of the needs of a commercial organisation.
- Sound knowledge of UK employment law.
- Competent PC/database and reporting skills.
- A flexible, positive, customer focused approach.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills.
- Proactive, solutions-oriented approach to all activities.
- Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail, with a continuous improvement approach to tasks and processes.
- Able to take a pragmatic approach to HR, without compromising professional standards.
- Appreciation of the importance of the end customer and their impact on internal activities
- CIPD qualified or equivalent formal recognised training/qualification is desirable
