- Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (Flexible working around core hours) however this role would also involve some flexibility due to the demand of the market with selling and buying homes to fit around clients' time too.
- £28 to £32k DOE - basic salary depending on experience with a competitive commission structure. You can earn a lot of money in this role if you are driven with sales targets
- Location - Wakefield
- Visits to the Sheffield office can be sporadic too for meetings to discuss.
- Read credit reports and fully understand customer credit profiles.
- Provide high-quality, professional, independent mortgage advice, explaining different types of mortgages available.
- Handle underwriting queries, resolve issues, and produce decisions in principle before passing cases to the case management team.
- Underwrite mortgage applications for a large panel of lenders.
- Manage pipelines and workflows in a fast-paced mortgage environment, ensuring customers are kept up to date.
- Meet departmental SLAs and targets.
- Ensure all regulatory documentation is completed within required timescales.
- Maintain knowledge of the financial services industry and stay updated on mortgage products and lender criteria.
- Work proactively, with flexibility and initiative, while also being a team player.
- Uphold company values and promote the brand effectively.
- Embed Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) within all work.
- Attend internal and external meetings as required.
- Experience in the whole of market mortgage sector is desirable but not essential.
- CeMAP qualification is a must.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage workloads efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
