We are currently recruiting for a Parent/Carer Mentor to work in our Youth Justice Team.This is a fixed term role for a period of 9 months until 31st March 2026.   • Provide regular, one-to-one mentoring to parents/carers, offering emotional and practical support tailored to their individual needs.
  • Build trusting relationships with families, using a trauma-informed approach to empower and strengthen their ability to support their child.
  • Connect parents/carers with relevant services and advocate on their behalf to ensure access to appropriate support.
  • Maintain high-quality records and use the Focused Diversion Toolkit to monitor progress and report effectively.
  • Collaborate with multi-agency partners through prevention panels to develop holistic support plans for families.
