Do you have the flexibility, drive, and creativity to support pupils in reaching their full potential?We’re working with a welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in Blackburn who are looking to appoint a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and skilled HLTA to join a supportive team and play a vital role in the classroom.The Role:Delivering pre-prepared lessons to whole classes in the absence of the teacherSupporting teaching and learning across both KS1 and KS2Working with small groups and 1:1 to raise attainmentAssisting in the preparation of learning materialsProviding feedback to pupils and contributing to assessmentSupporting the inclusion of pupils with SEND or EALThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:HLTA status (or equivalent Level 4 qualification)Experience working across KS1 and KS2Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skillsA flexible, proactive, and positive attitudeA commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of childrenWhat the School Offers:A supportive and inclusive school communityOpportunities for professional developmentCollaborative and friendly staff teamEngaged and enthusiastic pupilsAll applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
