Training will be provided on the products and there is scope for further development and progression within the CompanyPay:DAYS: PAYE pays £21.81 per hour flat rate (holiday pay is paid on top) or Umbrella pays £30.00 per hour, any O/Time pays £32.72 per hour PAYE or £45.01 UmbrellaNIGHTS: PAYE pays £26.03 per hour flat rate (holiday pay is paid on top) or Umbrella pays £35.81 per hour, any O/Time pays £32.72 per hour PAYE or £45.01 UmbrellaHours:Days is 7.15am - 3.45pm Monday to Thursday with a half day finish on Friday'sNightshift is Monday - Thursday 9.25 hours (6:30pm start and a 04:15am finish, with a half hour break at 01:00am)Please put on your cover sheet if your preference is DAYS or NIGHTSYour responsibilities in this role include:
  • Spraying components of varying sizes
  • Working with a variety of paints from gloss to matt, water based and solvent
  • Maintain product certification and approval via regular audits
  • Ability to sort all paint defects interior or exterior using various tools and techniques be it by using spray gun, brush head or roller head
  • Possess a versatile skill base with the capability to apply these skills across a range of task
  • Be fully conversant with all equipment, and tools associated with the Paint Spraying process
  • To spray units as per customer specification using electrostatic spray pumps and single/twin pack paints.
  • Check and complete all paperwork associated with the Manufacturing data pack
  • To support the Production Managers and Team Leaders, ensuring that all Marshall Land System projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standard
  • Take an active role in continuous improvements, to include lean and 5s procedures
  • Ensure equipment and tooling required is identified to the line manager
Apply if you have the following or equivalent:
  • Time served as a painter with a proven track record of paint experience
  • Experience in commercial vehicle, motor trade and aircraft paint spraying
  • Fully trained in working with various primers and topcoats including water based and solvent based paints
  • City and Guilds Apprenticeship or equivalent time served
