- Cleaning, sanding, and masking aircraft parts to ensure proper adhesion of paints or coatings.
- Selecting and mixing appropriate coatings or paints according to specified formulas, using automated paint mixing equipment.
- Applying primers, paints, or other coatings to composite components using spray equipment, ensuring an even and high-quality finish.
- Inspecting finished surfaces for defects, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards, and performing touch-ups as necessary.
- Prior experience in spraying paints or coatings, preferably in the aerospace, automotive, or similar precision industries.
- Familiarity with different types of paints, primers, and coatings, including their application techniques and drying processes.
- Proficiency in using spray guns, airbrushes, and other painting equipment.
