Step Teachers are working with a Primary School in the Cambridge area which require Teaching Assistants. They are now recruiting for a supply Teaching Assistant to start September 2025.Duties as a Teaching Assistant:
  • Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students, fostering their academic and personal growth.
  • The Teaching Assistant must be able to assist with classroom management and ensuring a safe learning environment.
  • The Teaching Assistant must assess student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
Ideal Teaching Assistant:
  • Good knowledge of Key Stage 2
  • Minimum of 6 months experience as a Teaching Assistant in a UK-based educational setting is essential.
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification is desirable.
  • Verifiable references from previous employers or placements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for education and supporting the learning journey of students.
