- Provide comprehensive quantity surveying support to the project team.
- Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, tender documents, and contract negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Monitor project costs, track variations, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare and manage payment schedules and claims.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant contractual obligations and industry standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site managers to ensure effective cost control and project delivery.
- Work closely with the commercial team to manage the commercial aspects of the contract.
- A relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying (e.g., BSc in Quantity Surveying, HND in Quantity Surveying, or equivalent).
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the highways sector, ideally with experience on major infrastructure projects.
- A strong understanding of highway construction techniques, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent knowledge of relevant cost estimating software, measurement standards, and contract documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
