This is an excellent opportunity for an individual interested in playing a key role in ensuring high-quality product and project performance, compliance, and driving continuous improvement.This opportunity is offering a salary from £45,000 - £50,000 (with potential to exceed depending on experience) and will be situated at their site in Fareham.Your responsibilities will include:Review Quality Plans, FUDs, Inspection & Test Plans, and QA/NDT documentationInterpret codes, standards, and specifications to ensure complianceCollaborate with QA Manager and Project Leads on documentation and QA deliverablesEnsure Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) conformityConduct weld fit-up inspections and visual inspectionsValidate welder qualifications and ensure prolongation is maintainedPerform cleanliness inspections and ensure material traceabilityManage calibration control of inspection tools and equipmentIdeal ExperienceSector experience within any of the following environments would be beneficial; Defence, Nuclear, Automotive, Marine or AerospaceProject Quality and Quality Control experienceFamiliarity with ISO 9001 / AS9100Proficiency in PPAP, MSA, GR&R, and process mappingSupplier development and document control experienceContract & Specification review skills (RFQ, Drawing Specs)Due to the nature of the organisation, position, and projects - you MUST be a UK national for security clearance requirements.
