Joining date 9th of October /2025 , Contract 6 months On / 10 weeks OffMain responsibilities:In addition to those normal duties as outlined in the V.Ships VMS, the Electronics Technical Officer (ETO) is responsible for:
· Performing electrical maintenance, repairs, and managing spares for various equipment including navigational systems, internal communication systems, external communication systems, CCTV systems, access control systems, etc.
· Utilising ShipSure for equipment maintenance (PMS) and spares ordering (procurement)
· Maintaining the working area clean, safe, and handling tools and equipment with care
· Participating in emergency drills and responding to actual emergencies as per the Muster List
· Adhering to all safety regulations and using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during work activities
· Adhering to and complying with all company policies and procedures, manuals and directives
· Performing duties and tasks according to above but not limited to that.ResponsibilitiesAdditional responsibilities:· Attend passenger social events as directed by the Head of Department.· Partake in inspections, trainings and meetings as directed by the Head of Department.· Other shipboard tasks pertaining to departmental operations as directed by Head of Department.· Attending trainings and office visits arranged by V.Ships Leisure where possible
