- Provide five-star customer service at all times.
- Provide clear, concise and accurate information to all visitors, governors, staff and pupils in a professional manner.
- Ensure all interactions are handled with courtesy and respect, even in challenging situations.
- Provide Security/Concierge Front of House presence on College properties.
- To be proactive regarding the security of the College, Prep School, and offsite premises.
- To be alert for possible intruders.
- Man the Security Lodge when not required elsewhere.
- Liaise with organisers of events being held during duty shift. This will include external clients as well as College staff and pupils.
- Ensuring the safety and security of pupils, staff and governors on campus.
- Ensuring the safety and security of visitors to the College.
- Monitoring of traffic and traffic control at specified times.
- Basic investigation and report writing.
- Unlock and secure exits, entrances and buildings on College premises at designated times.
- Random patrol of College grounds and buildings.
- Respond to alarms (fire, burglar etc.).
- Respond to emergency calls from staff, pupils and the Health Centre
- To respond to any other reasonable management request.
- Must have a current SIA Door Supervisor qualification (essential).
- Customer service experience (essential).
- Genuine interest in working within a school setting.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to stay calm in demanding situations.
- Friendly and approachable manner.
- Ability to interact with all @types of people with courtesy and tact.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Good IT skills.
