  • Support teachers in delivering lessons and activities to meet individual student needs.
  • Assist with classroom management to maintain a safe and engaging learning environment.
  • Provide one-to-one or small group support for students requiring additional help.
  • Help prepare and organise learning resources and classroom materials.
  • Monitor student progress and communicate observations to teaching staff.
  • Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development.
Ideal Candidate Requirements of the SEN TA:
  • Experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to different learning needs.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
