While we support flexible, remote-friendly ways of working, for this role we're focusing on London so we can best support our teams and keep collaboration flowing.This role is a 6-Month contract, working full-time hours.What you'd be doing in this roleWe're looking for a creative and highly skilled videographer to bring Canva's growth marketing content to life across TikTok, Meta, YouTube and other performance channels. In this role, you'll be at the heart of our Europe Marketing team, producing platform-native, thumb-stopping video content that drives awareness and conversions.You'll be someone who lives and breathes content; from ideation and storyboarding to shooting, editing and optimising for each platform. You're fluent in the language of short-form, with a knack for translating local insights into content that grabs attention in the first few seconds and keeps viewers hooked.We're after someone who's as comfortable behind the camera as they are in the edit suite, with a sharp eye for visual storytelling. If you can spot a trend before it peaks, adapt it to our brand voice, and package it into high-performing creative for growth channels - you're our person. Bonus points if you're up for starring in front of the camera too.What you'll doShoot and edit high-quality, platform-native short-form videos for TikTok, Meta, YouTube, and other growth marketing channelsPlan and execute shoots end-to-end - from ideation, storyboarding, and scripting to lighting, audio, and framingCollaborate with the growth creative squad and cross-functional marketing team to translate local insights into high-performing creativeCapture supplementary b-roll, behind-the-scenes, and stills for multi-channel useOptimise content for brand consistency, platform best practices, and both awareness and conversion goalsRegularly iterate and evolve content outputs based on ongoing performance insightsKeep on top of emerging trends, formats, and platform featuresWhat we're looking forProven track record creating high-performing short-form videos for TikTok, Meta, and YouTubeExpert videography skills; confident in camera operation, lighting, audio, and shot compositionStrong editing skills and open to using different software including Canva VideoDeep understanding of platform best practices and how to optimise content for both conversionsAbility to turn local market insights and trends into content that resonates with target audiencesComfortable managing the entire production process from concept to final exportData-informed mindset, with experience testing creative variations and iterating based on performance insightsHighly collaborative, working seamlessly with creative, marketing, and cross-functional teamsOrganised, self-motivated, and proactive in spotting and acting on content opportunitiesAbout the teamYou'll be part of the International Marketing group, working closely with the local UK team and the global social media team.
