- Assist the GHOPH/HOPH North/South to issue RP tenders to meet the requirements of the Operating Companies to specific deadlines.
- Research relevant Local Authority Affordable Housing Policy, providing concise summaries to determine a suitable affordable housing mix for negotiation with the Local Authority as part of any planning application and layout development.
- Collate necessary information from various sources within the Operating Companies to enable the HOPH to agree HoT’s and progress contracts to exchange in a timely manner.
- Regularly engage and build strong relationships with Local Authority Housing Enablers to facilitate negotiation of suitable AH mix and support our Core Values
- Regularly engage with Registered Providers to drive offers for our S.106 homes and support our Core Values
- Review and provide comments regarding Affordable Housing on site layouts and S.10 agreements for discussion with regional land and planning teams.
- Engage and complete an internal training programme delivered by the HOPH
- Support the Head of Partnership Homes, Group Head of Partnership Homes and Group Director of Partnership Homes in building positive and constructive relationships across the Operating Companies.
- Travel as required to attend meetings with Operating Companies, RP’s, Local Authorities and any other key Stakeholders.
- Good numeracy skills.
- Qualification in subject requiring numeracy such as Business, accounting, science, or mathematics.
- Good negotiation and Influencing skills
- A self-starter with ability to arrange workload in order to meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail. Able to analyse data and documents and produce summaries, options and proposals from the data.
- Has a driving license and access to a car that can be used for travel as required to undertake the role.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- High levels of integrity and professionalism.
