This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on children's early development during one of the most important stages of their education.What makes this role stand out? You'll be joining schools where your expertise is valued, and with Academics' strong local presence across East Kent, we're regularly visiting our schools in person to match you with settings that truly suit your skills.As an Early Years Foundation Specialist, you will:
  • Support children as they transition smoothly from nursery into reception
  • Create nurturing, engaging, and play-based learning environments
  • Deliver lessons in line with the EYFS framework, focusing on social, emotional, and academic readiness
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure each child thrives
What we're looking for:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or EYFS specialist qualification
  • Proven experience in Early Years, particularly transition stages
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development
  • A warm, creative, and resilient approach to supporting young learners
  • Right to work in the UK and a DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
