As Breakfast Manager, this will be the essence of your role. We are looking for someone with a welcoming, friendly personality, good knowledge of food and beverage service with a wide range of skills. You must be able to perform well in a fast-paced work environment and have the ability to lead a team ensuring our guests start their day off on a good note. If you think you have what it takes we would love to hear from you!About the roleJob Description:The main duties of this position include but are not limited to:Efficiently managing the breakfast front-of-house team to deliver a friendly, exceptional breakfast service to our hotel guests.Overseeing the set-up, replenishing, and breakdown of the breakfast service area ensuring high standards throughout.To have full and complete knowledge of all restaurant menus including allergen menus, enabling you to assist with any guest queries.Oversee breakfast reservation list using ResDiary. Manage all seating allocations, customer comments, and booking notes.Working alongside Head Chef to ensure all food delivered is of high quality and standard.Build strong working relationships with the kitchen team and restaurant staff and collaborate closely to drive sales and continually improve standards.Report to Senior Management regarding all operational issues relating to the restaurant.Ensure adequate staff cover for breakfast at all times whilst achieving budgeted wage percentages.Assist in the management, training, and leadership of the breakfast team to ensure standards are consistently met and wherever possible exceeded.Participate in regular staff meetings.Ensure knowledge of the resort and facilities is up to date in order to upsell at every opportunity and maximise profitability.Monitor and observe team members ensuring all Company and Statutory Fire, Health, Safety, and Hygiene regulations are followed.Making sure your personal appearance and uniform are in line with the Resort standards at all times.Attend any training that has been set up to aid your personal development.The Person:Applicant must:Have a passion for hospitality, great food, and great service.Have at least 2-3 years of restaurant supervisory and/or management experience.Previous experience working in a high pace, busy restaurant (desirable).Above experience gained in a 4/5-star environment (desirable).Good leadership skills and excellent attention to detail.Have a positive and friendly attitude.Be performance-driven and focused on implementing a culture of excellent customer service.Be able to work well while under pressure, showing initiative whilst multi-tasking.Have a sense of pride in the delivery of high standards of presentation and the Galgorm Collection brand.Have a flexible approach to working shift patterns including weekends.Perks of the job!!We're passionate about service, our guests, and, of course, our people.
