We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure/Network Engineer to join the Technology department of a leading company in the Industrial / Manufacturing sector. This temporary position in Birmingham involves ensuring the stability and efficiency of IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Support in deployment of new firewalls on multiple sites
  • Migrate devices into In Tune
  • Maintain and optimise IT infrastructure to support business operations.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Implement updates and patches to ensure system security and compliance.
  • Provide support for hardware, software, and network-related inquiries.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align IT solutions with business needs.
  • Document system configurations and update technical manuals as necessary.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of infrastructure upgrades.
  • Ensure data backup and recovery systems are functioning effectively.
6 month, outside IR35 contractLeading manufacturer with a number of exciting projectsA successful Infrastructure Engineer should have:
  • Palo Alto Firewalls including SD-WAN and Global Protect
  • Quest (they are doing a number of migrations between domains)
  • Aruba Central Wi-Fi (both setting up and migrating from Aruba standalone to a Centralised solution)
  • In-Tune
  • Migration of devices in
  • Deployment of packages including Microsoft EDR tools
  • Azure Configuration
Leading manufacturer for automotive industry is looking for an Infrastructure/Network Engineer for a period of 6-12 months.
  • Day rate ranging from £300-425 per day (outside IR35)
  • 6 month contract - possibility of extension
  • Based in Birmingham - hybrid
