This role focuses on maintaining and enhancing secure network infrastructure primarily working with Palo Alto, FortiGate firewalls and Azure-based networking.If you have a solid foundation in firewalls, VPNs, Zero Trust Network management, advanced networking principles, and you're eager to grow in a cloud-focused environment, we'd love to hear from you.QualificationsKey Responsibilities· Configure and support network security devices, primarily FortiGate with Fortimanager and Palo Alto with Strata cloud firewalls(major part of the role).· Maintain site-to-site VPNs and assist with firewall rule management.· Support Azure networking tasks such as VNets, NSGs, routing, ExpressRoute and VPN gateways.· Manage and monitor core Wireless resources (Meraki and Cisco)(experienced).· Handle advanced on-prem network support (switches, routers, load balancers (Kemp and Netscaler) cabling, connectivity checks- CCNP level).· Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve networking issues and plan future changes.· Maintain accurate documentation of customer environments.· Support change requests reviews and incident resolution with root cause (L2/3 support).Ideal Experience· 10+ years of experience supporting enterprise network environments and implementing zero trust principles.· Practical real (build from scratch, not using templates) experience of configuring and network monitoring with FortiGate or similar firewalls, Meraki and Cisco Wireless LAN controller, Cisco Catalyst Centre (Palo Alto, Cisco, etc.).· Good understanding of VPNs, enterprise routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and firewall concepts.· Familiarity with Azure networking (basic level is okay-willingness to learn is key).· Exposure to AWS networking is a bonus, but not essential.· Strong problem-solving and communication skills.Nice to Have· Certifications such as Fortinet NSE, Azure Fundamentals, or similar.Additional InformationAt Version 1, we believe in providing our employees with a comprehensive benefits package that prioritises their well-being, professional growth, and financial stability.One of our standout advantages is the ability to work with a hybrid schedule along with business travel, allowing our employees to strike a balance between work and life.
