- Material delivery forms a key part of the successful building of transformers on time.
- The liquidated damages associated with late delivery can run into 100,000’s of pounds hence the importance of ensuring materials are delivered on time without damage, deterioration or loss.
- Support business-wide Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with the wider team to ensure smooth operations and meet delivery deadlines.
- Help with any reasonable tasks aligned with your skills and capabilities.
- Experience using logistics systems, with a focus on SAP for materials management.
- Certified to operate forklifts (FLT) and overhead cranes, or willing to obtain certification.
- Advanced organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment is highly desirable.
