We're seeking a creative and results-driven Sales Executive to help grow our brand presence, drive business, and support strategic revenue growth.About the roleRole ResponsibilitiesThe Sales Executive will support the hotel's commercial success by executing sales strategies, developing engaging marketing campaigns, and nurturing client relationships. Reporting to the General Manager and working alongside the Revenue, marketing, and operations teams, this role blends hands-on marketing content creation with proactive business development.Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business growth.Identify new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead generation.Develop and execute sales campaigns to promote rooms, dining, meetings, and events.Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and emerging trends.Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, travel agents, corporate clients, and event planners.Support the planning and delivery of sales initiatives, including B2B outreach, show rounds, and trade events.Track campaign performance metrics and prepare regular performance reports.Liaise with external affiliations and associations as required.Collaborate closely with the revenue manager and marketing executive to align promotions with pricing and demand strategies.Key CompetenciesCreative thinker with a commercial mindset.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proactive and self-motivated with a hands-on approach.Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Team player with the ability to work cross-departmentally.What We OfferCompetitive salary based on experience.Staff meals and hotel discounts.A supportive and collaborative team environment.Training and development opportunities.A chance to make a tangible impact at an established independent hotel.About the companyA warm welcome to The Malone, Northern Ireland's finest, four-star boutique hotel, just minutes from the bustling heart of Belfast city centre.   • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a sales or marketing role, preferably within the hospitality sector.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms.
  • Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress), email marketing tools, and CRM systems.
  • Familiarity with the local Belfast market and hospitality landscape is an advantage.
  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills.
  • Photography, video, or graphic design skills are a plus.
