- Ensure appropriate communication mechanisms are in place and promote and maintain effective communication within the multidisciplinary team and between other colleagues, patients, relatives.
- Provides strong, clear and consistent leadership to the Gynaecology Outpatient team acting as a positive role model exemplifying professional attitude and behaviours.
- Identify and undertake initiatives and innovation to improve quality of patient care, develop the service and meet the requirements of current standards/legislation
- Support and participate in all aspects of Governance
- Motivates the team to establish a positive learning environment and ensures that each member of the team is valued and developed to their full potential within the Outpatient competency framework.
- Significant gynaecology experience at band 6 or above
- Evidence of managing a team
