
Marketing & Events Manager

- Event planning – themes, locations, calendar, objective and KPI setting, in collaboration with Commercial and Operations teams
- Local activation of community engagement initiatives and campaigns
- Creative and copywriting, including briefing graphic designer
- Event promotion through social media, POS, email
- Coordinate prizes and event competitions
- Production of colleague engagement and communication packs
- Coordinating supplier liaison (attendance, engagement and contribution)
- Work with category teams to identify appropriate “on the day” deals
- Pre -event colleague briefing sessions
- Data capture at event / database management
- Production and distribution of event promotional merchandise
- Post event internal communications/ updates / feedback loop
- Customer follow up comms
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a marketing role, which includes event management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Proactive, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and organised
- Strong communication skills
- Team player, comfortable with supporting and accepting support from colleagues
- Ability to work independently
- An eye for detail and accuracy, good spelling and grammar
- Professional, polite, friendly and helpful manner
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with commercial, category, finance, and accounts teams
- Budget management and tracking
- Strong administrative skills such as PO management, responding to branch queries etc.
- Agency management
- Content creation – basic photography and videography
- Content editing and animation
- Knowledge of Adobe Suite and Canva
