Optical Assistant

• Deliver outstanding service in a customer-focused environment
• Dispense and fit a wide range of frames and lenses, from classic to high fashion
• Perform frame repairs, adjustments, and styling with confidence
• Carry out contact lens teaches and promote myopia control solutions
• Work closely with a small, passionate team to ensure a smooth and personal patient journey
• Stay aligned with the latest clinical and professional standards (GOC/ABDO, if applicable)
• Engage in ongoing training and CPD to continue growing in your role

• For Dispensing Opticians: GOC-registered with a clean, professional record
• For Optical Assistants: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in optics, with full dispensing capabilities
• A strong communicator who thrives in a close-knit, patient-first team
• Confidence in handling both NHS and private patients

• Competitive salary: OA – up to 30k depending on experience. QDO – up to 38k depending on experience.
