Optical Assistant | Ashtead | Full Time - 3, 4 or 5 days per week | £28,000 to £30,000 per annum (£15.61 – £16.42 per hour)Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Optical Assistant to join their team. You’ll work closely with the Optometrist to ensure that every patient receives personalised care, tailored eyewear solutions, and an exceptional experience every time they visit the clinic.   • Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Optical Assistant
  • Strong knowledge of optical products and terminology
  • Excellent communication skills
  • IT Literate
  • Ability to work well within a team and independently
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
What will your role look like?
  • Working with the Optometrist to determine the best solution for the patient
  • Dispensing, fitting, and adjusting spectacles
  • Performing contact lens teaching
  • Being flexible to work with the practice team and other colleagues to deliver obsessively great service to every client
  • Following GOC and ABDO guidelines in practice and undertaking CET to further develop skills
