We have strategically located service centers across the globe that provide ongoing maintenance and support to our customers across the globe.About the RoleThe General Manager selected for this role will be managing a growing regional service center in Farnborough, England. Person selected for this role will need to be able to work onsite at this center. Aviation/aerospace industry leadership is preferred.Education and Experience RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field required or an equivalent combination of experience and education sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Aviation experience in Service Center operations with corporate aircraft and leadership/supervisory experience.Position Purpose:Manage all aspects of Farnborough Service Center Operations. Develop and maintain an effective organization to achieve or exceed safety, operational, customer satisfaction and financial goals set for the facility.Job DescriptionPrinciple Duties and Responsibilities:Essential Functions: * Guide and direct the Farnborough management team. Establish goals, objectives and priorities for the facility consistent with corporate objectives.
  • Plan, develop and execute long range business objectives. Develop and implement policies and procedures in support of Gulfstreams Vision, Strategy, and Values.
  • Establish and monitor policies and procedures to enhance the day to day safety of employees and protection of customer aircraft.
  • Oversee the training of employees to ensure that employees are aware of and comply with company and government policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Establish and achieve financial budgets and goals for the facility.
  • Coordinate, as necessary, with business areas (i.e. PS Sales) outside of the span of control.
  • Create annual goals for facility and implement strategies to enhance employee safety and quality, accuracy and efficiency of department work processes.
  • Work closely with management team to plan aircraft material and labor to meet Farnborough business plan.
Perform other duties as assigned.Other Requirements: * Must have the experience and ability to successfully manage the profit/loss responsibilities for the facility.
  • An EASA B1 or B2 license or Airframe and Powerplant or pilots license preferred.
  • Must have demonstrated leadership ability and possess strong communication skills.
  • Maintains contact with facility management team, Gulfstream sales team, management of other facilities and customers to exchange information and resolve problems encountered in daily operations.
