Job Title: Class TeacherStart: SeptemberLocation: BromleyContract Type: Permanent, full time, part timeRemote working: On-site onlyPay rate: Pay to scaleThe Role: As a KS1 Class Teacher, you will play a key role in laying strong educational foundations during a pivotal stage in pupils' learning journeys.   • Deliver engaging lessons in line with KS1 curriculum
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of transition programmes, supporting children as they move into Reception or from Reception to Key Stage 1 or 2
  • Plan and deliver dynamic lessons aligned with the national curriculum
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and respectful space where every kid feels valued
The ideal candidate:
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status), relevant degree (usually a bachelor’s in education or a subject related to the one you’ll teach).
  • Ability to plan, prepare and execute inclusive and engaging lessons in line
  • Has experience in or a passion for teaching Key Stage 1,2
  • Is committed to inclusive and inspiring teaching
  • Has excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • Works well as part of a team and builds strong relationships with pupils and families

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
