Start: September | Full-Time | KS2 Class GroupWe’re working with a lovely specialist SEN primary school in the SE23 area, and they’re looking for a caring, confident Primary Teacher to join their team in September.This is a full-time role leading a small KS2 class of around 9 pupils, all of whom have a range of additional needs – mostly autism and communication difficulties. You’ll have full teaching, planning and pastoral responsibility for the class, but you’ll be well-supported by two experienced TAs and given time for PPA.What to expect:A friendly, supportive school environmentA class of 9 pupils with a variety of needs – mainly autismTwo skilled TAs in class to support youFull responsibility for planning, teaching, and pastoral careTime out of class for PPAA real opportunity to make a differenceWhat they’re looking for:QTS (No ECTs for this role)At least one year of experience teaching in a UK primary settingIdeally some SEN experience, but more important is a genuine interest and willingness to learnStrong verbal communication skills – this is key due to the nature of the pupils’ needsYou must be primary-trained – secondary backgrounds won’t be consideredThis is a brilliant opportunity to step into a rewarding role where no two days are the same and the support from leadership is genuinely strong.
