  • Experience with some of our tech stack (Power BI, T-SQL, Excel, SSRS, Power Automate), or similar tools

  • PreviousNHS or healthcare experience (beneficial but notrequired)
  • The ability to prioritise and coordinate tasks across multiple ongoing projects with a focus on clear documentation and compliance with governance frameworks

Main duties of the jobWhat you will be doing
  • Design, develop andmaintaindashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI and SSRS to provide insight and support data-driven decision-making
  • Engage with stakeholders (including senior managers and clinicians) to gather requirements, communicate insights, and translate technical findings into actionable outcomes
  • Extract, transform and analyse data from a variety of sources to support operational and strategic initiatives
  • Interpret national and local guidance to develop andmaintainappropriate datasets, dataflows, and reporting processes
  • Investigate and respond to ad-hoc data queries, ensuring timely and accurate information delivery
  • Work collaboratively with the wider Data & Analytics team, sharingexpertiseand supporting continuous improvement
  • Understand and document business processes and workflows to inform data solutions
  • Apply data governance principles and follow established change management procedures to maintain data quality, consistency, and security
About usThe Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust provides services to West Cheshire and to Welsh patients covered by Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board.
