An excellent opportunity for an experienced new business underwriter with a strong background in Property and Liability. This role focuses on delivering outstanding customer service and aligning underwriting decisions with broader business strategies. The successful candidate will have a clear understanding of broker and customer needs and how these align with commercial objectives.Key Responsibilities:Underwrite profitable new business within agreed underwriting guidelines and authority levels.Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with brokers and customers, offering technical support and resolving queries efficiently.Utilise a network of internal and external stakeholders to offer comprehensive and tailored solutions.Work autonomously on cases within personal underwriting authority, and collaborate on more complex or technical risks when needed.What We're Looking For:Strong knowledge of insurance products, features, and underwriting processes specific to Property and Liability.Proven planning, prioritisation, and organisational skills.Excellent communication, listening, time management, and negotiation capabilities.Ability to collaborate effectively within a large and complex organisational environment.Solid understanding of FCA regulations and other relevant legal frameworks.About the Company:
